Visual Sound Acquires Kunz, Inc.

Purchase Allows Visual Sound to Expand its Reach and Service Offerings

Broomall, PA – Visual Sound, Inc., a leading audio visual systems integrator, service provider and presentation technology reseller, is pleased to announce that it has recently acquired Kunz, Inc. Based in Baltimore, Kunz is a leading Mid-Atlantic audio visual equipment supplier and service provider, primarily serving local government and various school districts throughout the Baltimore, Washington and Virginia regions.

According to Karen Bogosian, President and CEO of Visual Sound, Kunz’s high level of experience made it a good match for Visual Sound. The acquisition will enable Kunz to offer additional manufacturer lines currently represented by Visual Sound, broadening their technology offering. Some of those manufacturers include SMART Technologies, Crestron, AMX, Extron, Bose, BIAMP, Shure, NEC, LG, Polycom, Tandberg, VBrick, Chief, Da-Lite amongst many others.

Founded in 1949, Kunz originally started as a 16 millimeter film rental company. Now, Kunz supplies AV equipment and educational software.
